The Trisuli River is situated approximately 3–4 hours west of Kathmandu, along the Prithvi Highway, making it easily accessible for both locals and tourists. It serves as a convenient stopover for travelers heading to Pokhara, Chitwan National Park, or Lumbini, offering a perfect blend of adventure and scenic beauty.

The river offers various rafting sections:

  • Standard Trips: Approximately 16–25 km, typically ranging from Charaudi to Kurintar.

  • Extended Expeditions: Up to 87 km, covering the stretch from Baireni to Gaighat, ideal for multi-day rafting adventures. 

 Gradient

The Trisuli River is classified as Grade II to III+ under normal conditions, with some sections reaching Grade IV during high water levels. This gradient provides a mix of thrilling rapids and calmer stretches, suitable for both beginners and experienced rafters.

BEST TIME FOR RAFTING AND KAYAKING 

The best time to raft the Trisuli River in Nepal is during the Spring (March to May) and Autumn (September to November) seasons. These months offer optimal conditions for rafting, characterized by:
